Access Statement

The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway is committed to providing an enjoyable and safe environment to everyone who visits us; we welcome comments and suggestions and are always looking for better ways to accommodate all our visitors whatever their individual needs.

At the railway there is level access to the shop and café, all visitor areas are accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with walking aids, and there are toilets designed for wheelchair users. There are also two wheelchairs available to loan free of charge and we have a carriage converted for wheelchair access. Baby changing facilities are provided at the toilets and pushchairs etc. can be kept safely in the guard’s compartment and/or the shop if requested. Staff are on hand to help and advise when required and as the guard will act as your guide for the duration of your visit, you should direct any questions you may have to them in the first instance.
